Eligibility: ABBD is intended for businesses that are owned, co-owned, or operated by members of the Bangladeshi community in Australia. All submissions are reviewed before publication. VBCF reserves the right to approve or decline listings that do not align with the purpose of the directory.

🔒 How we use your information

  • Your application is reviewed by the VBCF/ABBD committee; nothing is public until it is approved.
  • If approved, the details you provide (name, contact, address, description, images, etc.) appear on the public directory and business profile.
  • We may contact you by email or phone about your application and listing (status updates, owner sign-in, approval).
  • Visitors may contact your business from your profile; messages are emailed to your listing contact address.
  • Your ABN is used for verification; it is not shown on the public profile unless a separate verified programme applies.
  • VBCF may contact you at the email or phone you provide about future events, promotions, and community news.

Privacy collection notice — Australian Bangladeshi Business Directory (ABBD) The Victorian Bangladeshi Community Foundation (VBCF) and the ABBD Committee collect the information in this form to assess your listing, operate the directory, and communicate with you about your business. We use your details to: review and approve or decline applications; publish approved listing information on vbcf.org.au; send transactional emails (for example application received, approval, and owner sign-in codes); allow visitors to contact your business through the profile contact form; and verify your ABN with official sources. VBCF may also contact you from time to time about VBCF and community events, promotions, and news using the email address or phone number you provide. You can ask us to stop promotional contact by replying to an email or contacting info@vbcf.com.au. We share application data only with authorised VBCF/ABBD administrators and service providers needed to run the website (for example secure hosting and email delivery). We do not sell your personal information. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to submit this listing.
